Das DR ist ein Ma\u00df f\u00fcr die Sicherheit der Anwendung, in leicht modifizierter Form wird dieser Parameter als therapeutische Breite (von Arzneistoffen) bezeichnet.<\/p>\n<p>Substanz A: TD = 5 g, LDmin = 100 g, DR = 20<br \/>\nSubstanz B: TD = 0,05 g, LDmin = 1 g, DR = 20<br \/>\nSubstanz C: TD = 2 g, LDmin = 8 g, DR = 4<\/p>\n<p>Welche der Substanzen w\u00fcrden wir als Gift bezeichen? Vermutlich w\u00fcrde die Wahl auf C fallen, da bei dieser Substanz der Sicherheitsabstand zwischen der typischen Tagesdosis und der potentiell letalen Dosis am geringsten ist.<\/p>\n<p>Aufl\u00f6sung:<br \/>\nA = NaCl (Kochsalz)<br \/>\nB = Nikotin<br \/>\nC = Paracetamol<\/p>\n<p>Paracetamol (z.B. Mexalen\u00ae) ist ein weit verbreitetes, gut wirksames Mittel gegen leichte, nicht-entz\u00fcndliche Schmerzen, das aufgrund seiner guten Vertr\u00e4glichkeit (im Unterschied zu Aspirin\u00ae) auch f\u00fcr schwangere Frauen und Kleinkinder zugelassen ist, allerdings bereits bei vergleichsweise geringer \u00dcberdosierung schwere Lebersch\u00e4den verursacht, die potentiell t\u00f6dlich sind.<\/p>\n<p>Welche dieser Substanzen ist nun ein &#8222;Gift&#8220;? Die richtige Antwort k\u00f6nnte ebenso &#8222;Alle&#8220; wie &#8222;Keine&#8220; lauten, was offensichtlich Unsinn ist.
